Pacific Conference History (Pac )
The Pac 7 conference was created in 1995 by mixing some teams from three other leagues around the metro area. Canby and Tualatin were moved from the Three Rivers League. McMinnville, Forest Grove and Newberg were making the jump from the Metro league while Dallas and Silverton did not only change conferences but changed classifications as well moving to the 4A level from the respected 3A. Since then, Woodburn and Tigard have also joined the Conference and thus changing the league name to Pac-9. In 2006 the OSAA updated its classifications again creating six levels of play from the previous four in hopes of creating more fair competition for some schools. Canby was moved to the newly formed Pacific Conference while Dallas, Woodburn and Silverton were moved to lower classifications. The newly formed "Pac" conference consists of the following:

-From Sunset Hwy. 26: North Plains exit, turn left. Right on Zion church Road. Deadends at Verboort Rd, turn Right. Through the town of Verboort to Nehalem Hwy47. Turn left at flashing red, right on Willamina Ave (sign on left says FGHS). Turn right several blocks down onto B St., Left just after Nichols Lane into parking lot.
-From Tualatin Valley 8: Follow TV HWY through Hillsboror, Cornelius and into Forest Grove. Turn right on Main St, Left on Willamina Ave. Turn Right on B St, turn left just after Nichols Lane.
-From 47(from the South): Past Gaston all the way into Forest Grove. At the light at Pacific Avenue, turn left. Turn Right on Main St., left on Willamina Ave, Right on B St. and left just after Nichols Lane.
-From Newberg: Left on Hwy 99W in Newberg, Right on Hwy 240 (Chehalem Valley/Yamhill), drive approximately 5 miles to Spring Hill Rd (sign: Gaston-Laurellwood), Right onto Spring Hill Road Drive to Gaston Road, turn Right onto Hwy 47. Drive North through Dilley and into Forest grove
McMinnville High School

-Take Ehlen Road west out of Aurora. Continue west until you come to a ‘T’ at the stop. Turn right to Newberg and Left onton 99-W. Follow 99-W into McMinnville through Lafayette. Turn left on Evens, to the school at 15th and Ford (Patton Middle School – 1175 E 19th) (Duniway Middle School – 575 Michelbook Lane)

-Take Ehlen Road west out of Aurora. Travel to the ‘T’ at the stop light and turn right to Newberg. At 99-W (from the intersection at Fred Meyer) – Turn right on Elliot Road (across from Izzy’s). At the 99-W intersection by Wilco (turn Right) onto 99-W and Left on Elliott Road. Follow
Tigard High School

-I-5 North to Carmen Drive (exit #291). Left over the freeway to Boones Ferry Rd. Left on Boones Ferry To Durham Rd., right on Durham. THS is approximately 3/8 on the left.
Tualatin High School

I-5 North to exit #286 (Wilsonville-Stafford Rd). Cross left over freeway and angle to the right onto Boones Ferry Rd. (1.6 miles to THS on Right.)
